‘Communities Against Cancer is a cancer awareness project funded by Wessex Cancer Alliance to help improve early diagnosis by raising awareness of cancer in the community.’ Action Hampshire
Helping Hooves is working with Action Hampshire to deliver on this project, to address the imbalance in health inequality, specifically within rural communities and among people with Learning Disabilities (LD) or Special Educational Needs (SEN).
From our own countryside venue, The Snug, we are delivering a number of workshops, as well as workshops and drop in sessions within local communities.
Together we explore how to better access screening, reliable cancer information and earlier diagnosis.
