Feeling empowered and in control is a massive help to anyone’s treatment journey, and our Group Faciliator will actively help you identify your own resilience and self-efficacy.
“Go and love someone exactly as they are. And then watch how quickly they transform into the greatest, truest version of themselves. When one feels seen and appreciated in their own essence, one is instantly empowered.”
A realistic approach
People often have a number of health conditions (co-existing) which can be typically related or unique. Prescribed medication is also unique to our own treatment, and each of our emotional response to disease or injury is personal too. We should also consider how a person’s environment and circumstances plays a part in them coping with illness or injury as it can have a significant effect on healing and recuperation.
Identifying shared experiences and outcomes
Helping Hooves’ Study Groups are thought provoking and solution focused, encouraging positive discussion and reflection. People explore the broader experiences of incapacity, regardless of diagnosis. Through sharing these experiences people can gain extra insight in to managing their health, in particular the holistic management of effects such as anxiety and social isolation.
A social experience
For comfort our study groups are delivered from our country retreat The Snug. The Snug offers a variety of seating options and space to move about freely as needed, and times are pleasantly kept to just a morning or afternoon.
People are very welcome to bring their own packed lunch and we will provide hot and cold beverages.
